Rural Haven

Festival first-timer Rural Haven is a peaceful place planted with a painter’s eye. For the past 20 years, Yvonne, the artist, and Len, the handyman, have developed a creative rural garden with flowing curves and layers of mixed planting. Their one-acre property of colour and texture is a harmony of all sorts, including abutilons, hydrangeas and groundcovers. There is also an abundance of edibles – they are 80% selfsufficient in garden-grown food.
