Karen and Mark have spent the past ten years transforming a bare acre of farmland into a productive garden using permaculture principles.
Their sustainable home is aiming for self-sufficiency. The fruit trees are now producing well and the addition of a new passive solar greenhouse in 2022 has increased the production of tomatoes and chillies. Spare produce is either given away, preserved or taken to the local crop swap.
