Waitoriki is a rural school 3.5 km out of Inglewood. Our grounds and māara are taken care of during school time with a unique programme called Waitoriki Whenua.
We have an orchard, berry house, bottle house, worm farm, compost and starting a community food forest. These projects are made using recycled materials and are built by the students.
We have a carpark down at the hall where you walk up the path past the food forest. The school is positioned at the top and is surrounded by established native bush. The school is a three roomed building with access to toilets. The māara is beside the school with access through the orchard.
