This whanau began with a bare paddock in 2004. They have followed permaculture principles on steep terrain which they manage with windbreaks, terraced gardens, swales & a wetland.
The sheep and chickens provide meat & eggs, while herbs are used for both medicine & food. They are working towards future proofing their property for the sustainability of the land & people.
