Hans and Stefanie run a sustainable Wiltshire sheep stud. They have extensive mature orchards, including a large berry enclosure, tunnel house, and banana greenhouse. They preserve and pickle their garden surplus, make their own cured meats, and milk goats to make feta cheese, yogurt and kefir. The house is supplemented by 20 solar panels and a self-built micro-hydro scheme.
