This 4.5-ha farm and retreat is teeming with vegetables and fruit trees. This largely self-sustainable property, named after the ancient pā site on its boundary, utilises crop rotation, seed preservation, companion planting and mulching.
See lambs, baby calves, an earth room to store the garden’s generous bounty, or hear about Rosanna’s preserves and pickles. If you’re lucky, she may perform an impromptu acapella. Visitors take care near the cliff. Cash only sales for plants, preserves and produce.
