Ngā Manu (Bird Garden) has an excellent variety of plantings, including a 40-year old male giant ginkgo tree, a variety of camellia trees, hydrangeas and rhododendrons, much to the delight of the resident native birdlife which inspired the garden's name.
Corokia hedging and columnar golden beech trees create a sleek entrance into the Michael Mansvelt-designed urban garden, while a water feature, cycad palms and tropical plantings complement the modern garden office pod. Michelia trees grace the boundary fence with a rose arch, NZ native ferns, heliotrope and lush green lawns throughout the garden. Off-road parking available.
