Hillsborough is a landscape project on a grand scale. This garden is in the early stages of development, planted with NZ native, Australian and exotic plants.
Nestled into a valley, this former paddock has grand designs in place. Hard landscaping creates the foundation, with a vision for an extensive park-like garden over time, take a tour on the train and enjoy the scale of this impressive project. Features include Mini-Putt, a café and the Hillsborough Holden Museum, one of New Zealand’s largest private collections. There is something for the whole family.
Hillsborough Cafe will be serving up delicious coffee, and home-cooked meals and treats during the festival, the cafe overlooks the mini-putt.
Opening for the first time in seven years, Tikorangi is one of the few inter-generational gardens in NZ with the oldest trees dating back to 1870 and main areas actively gardened for 70 years. Read More >
