One of New Plymouth’s hidden gems, Te Henui Cemetery has an eclectic mix of plantings. Pohutukawa, cherry blossom and crab apple trees enhance the city’s oldest cemetery, and beds of flowers blossom year round, lovingly tended by dedicated volunteer gardeners and NPDC Parks staff.
