Ngā Manu (Bird Garden) is a new garden in development. There is a male giant ginkgo tree, a variety of camellia trees, hydrangeas and rhododendrons, much to the delight of the resident native birdlife which inspired the gardens name.
Corokia hedging and columnar golden beech trees create a sleek entrance into the Michael Mansvelt designed urban garden, while roses, cycad palms, star jasmine and Japanese silver grass have been designed to complement the modern European office pod which the garden surrounds.
