Come for a wander with our dedicated garden volunteersand explore this heritage cemetery. Enjoy the bird, beeand butterfly friendly haven with its wide range andabundance of flowers.
Join NPDC’s Pukekura Park staff on a guided walk through one of New Zealand’s most significant public gardens. Learn about the history, fascinating plants and discover hidden corners whilst on this tour.
Please wear suitable walking shoes. A medium level of fitness is required. The event will proceed wet or fine.
This tour and demonstration will give you a first-hand look at what goes into creating the stunning displays in the Fernery and Display Houses. You’ll see colourful coleus, exotic foliage plants and elegant orchids.
The Friends of Tūpare will conduct daily tours of the beautifully restored Chapman-Taylor designed home built by Sir Russell and Lady Matthews. Before and after the tours a mobility vehicle will be operating to help less able visitors up and down the steep driveway.
