We invite you to join us in the spring of 2015 for a festival brimming with a variety of impressive gardens and complementary events, all set around the legendary Mount Taranaki.
We have combined food, fashion, architecture and sustainability alongside our richly assorted gardens, to offer up a tasteful experience for all!
Headline guest speaker Kath Irvine, creator of Edible Backyard will hold two workshops teaching you how to design and grow smart gardens. Alongside the subtle theme of organics and sustainability we also welcome Malcolm Rands the ‘Ecoman’, an organic gardener and social entrepreneur who took the business of green global.
In keeping with the continual growth and variety the festival welcomes seven new gardens; you can find these listed on page five. The Chapman-Taylor Tour returns this year, in celebration of the architectural works in Taranaki of renowned architect James Walter Chapman-Taylor. To complement garden visiting, book yourself a ticket to see engaging chef Simon Gault, or join the dynamic She Who Walks fashion event.
We would like to welcome all new comers and thank our supporters for their contributions that make it possible for us to showcase our ten day events programme and impressive array of private and public gardens to New Zealand and the world.
We hope you find that not only do the festival gardens look great and you learn something new, but that you stopand connect with nature and simply breathe in its abundance!
